Just two weeks ago, he wrote an open letter to Miklós Kásler of Teachers' Union In it, they stated that if the government really allows children and students back to school in April, it is essential to vaccinate teachers immediately.

We responded to this with our article, according to which the PSZ's request has a serious beauty flaw.
Because, based on a survey conducted by the PSZ in January, 47 percent of educators wanted to be vaccinated, but at the beginning of March Zoltán Maruzsa, the State Secretary of the EMMI, stated that "195,000 teachers work in public education, as well as colleagues who help with education. So far, slightly more than 51,000 of them have registered for vaccination. That's a little more than 26 percent."

We dared to note that there is indeed a serious difference between 47 percent and 26 percent. What's more: according to a survey by the Nézőpont Institute at the beginning of March, 62 percent of the entire population of the country thought they would get vaccinated.

How much has the situation changed in two weeks? Prime Minister Viktor Orbán on Radio Kossuth Good morning, Hungary! In his program, he said today that 102,000 of the teachers and school workers had registered, and 20,000 of them had been vaccinated so far. The others can be vaccinated until April 10, so there is a realistic chance that school education can resume on April 19 after a week of preparatory work.

Yes, but how much is that much? We will say: 102 thousand is exactly 55 percent of the 195 thousand indicated above. In other words, the number of registered teachers actually increased by 10 percent in two weeks, but this also means that 45 percent of them are still not registered.

We wish this 45 percent good strength and health, and we would like them to decide to take the vaccine, no matter what the opposition says. Not only for you, but also for our children.

Come on teachers!
