Minister of Finance Mihály Varga announced the good news on his social media page.
As you can read, the budget provided the HUF 5 billion needed for this year's car purchases . Half of the purchase price of the vehicle, but no more than HUF 2.5 million, can be claimed for the purchase. Families do not have to advance this money, and in the case of a loan, it is even included in the self-sufficiency.
The minister also mentions that HUF 52 billion have been spent for this purpose since the start of the program in 2019. With this help, a total of 22,000 large families got a new car.
The support can definitely be applied for until the end of 2022.
