207 people died, most of them elderly, chronically ill, and another 2,527 Hungarian citizens were diagnosed with the coronavirus - koronavirus.gov.hu announced on Wednesday, highlighting that 3,363,596 people have been vaccinated in Hungary so far, of which 1,425,124 have already received the second they also received a dose of vaccine.
It was written on the government portal: the number of infected people identified in Hungary has increased to 757,360. The number of those who died rose to 25,787, and those who recovered rose to 464,750.
The number of active infected people is 266,823. 8,097 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospitals, of which 925 are on ventilators.
There are 42,068 people under official home quarantine, and the number of samples has increased to 5,179,517.
