After the murder of the French policewoman, the authorities are looking for answers, but there is no answer to the basic question of who is responsible for the bankruptcy of the multicultural society - said security policy expert György Nógrádi on M1's Ma Este broadcast. The Tunisian killer of the policewoman came to France 12 years ago, but lived in the country illegally for 10 years.

On Friday afternoon, a 49-year-old policewoman was stabbed to death in France in a small town south of Paris.

György Nógrádi said about the case that the Tunisian-born killer of the policewoman came to France 12 years ago, but lived illegally for 10 years and only received a residence permit two years ago, which the French authorities said they did not know how. Although it was previously denied that it had an Islamist background, Emmanuel Macron already wrote on Twitter that "we will not give in to Islamist terrorism."

Regarding the social background behind the incident, Nógrádi said that immigrants are pouring into France, including from the former colony, Tunisia.

According to some data, people with an immigrant background make up 40 percent of the population, but official data shows 20 percent.

He believed that it is necessary to decide whether migration is necessary and fulfills the role that is expected of it. The murdered policewoman will now be a hero and a street will be named after her, but this does not change the fact that Western Europe must make a statement on fundamental strategic issues.

György Nógrádi answered the question of whether there have been changes in France after the terrorist attacks of recent years and whether they are able to track the persons receiving settlement permits, saying that the task of the authorities is primarily to track persons suspected of terrorism.

Elections will be held in France next year, and the key question is how much the position of French society has shifted towards immigration. He believed that more and more people see that migration is not a solution. There is no answer to the basic question, that is, who is responsible for the bankruptcy of the multicultural society, he said.
