106 people died, most of them elderly, chronically ill, and another 1,541 Hungarian citizens were diagnosed with the coronavirus, koronavirus.gov.hu announced on Friday, highlighting that 4,203,873 people have been vaccinated in Hungary so far, of which 2,406,684 have already received the second they also received a dose of vaccine.
It was written on the government portal: the number of infected people identified in Hungary has increased to 789,188. The number of those who died rose to 28,403, and those who recovered rose to 553,836.
The number of active infected people is 206,949. Hospitals treat 3,855 coronavirus patients, of whom 445 are on ventilators.
There are 24,690 people under official home quarantine, and the number of samples has increased to 5,494,198.
