On Friday, the WHO approved the emergency use of the Chinese Sinopharm, despite this, Zoltán Komáromi, the health politician of the Democratic Coalition (DK), once again attacked the eastern vaccine.

The approval of the World Health Organization (WHO) regarding the emergency use of the Chinese Sinopharm was also of great importance because the international organization has not yet "approved" a vaccine developed by a non-Western pharmaceutical company, and Sinopharm was the first.
As is known, the oriental vaccine has already been administered to hundreds of millions of people worldwide, and it has been used in Hungary for several months. Nevertheless, the domestic left has been consciously and concertedly attacking the vaccine since the beginning, not secretly with the aim of creating uncertainty around it.
This has now been perfectly proven: despite having received the green light from the WHO, Zoltán Komáromi, the health policy specialist of the DK, had strong words for Sinopharm (and Szputnyik Vt) on the day of the decision.
Komáromi talked about how most of the people in his practice have been waiting for weeks for the Pfizer vaccine. At this point, he emphasized that people only believe in Pfizer and Moderna. "There are many people, primarily thyroid patients, autoimmune patients, obese people, diabetics, pregnant women, nursing mothers, and people actually only believe in Pfizer and Moderna," said the left-wing politician.
His statement fits perfectly in line: Komáromi has been persistently attacking Eastern vaccines for months, which made him the number one face of the left's anti-vaccination campaign. In his previous statements, he said that the disease caused by the coronavirus is better than Eastern vaccines.
It is memorable, he used to dare to the extent, and we used the word dare not by chance, that as an active health worker he said that even the coronavirus is better than certain vaccines. Because of the statement, Gyula Kincses, the president of the Hungarian Medical Chamber (MOK), promised an ethical procedure against him.
Recently, he boasted that if his patients ask him how good a choice Sinopharm or Szputnyik is, he replies that he cannot say. According to his reasoning, no, because "there is no evidence for this".
It would be very important to understand that the statement of a healthcare worker, especially if he is one of the opinion leaders of his party in the field of healthcare, unsettles people. In terms of vaccines, the choice is free in our country, vaccination is not mandatory, but more than four million two hundred thousand people have already used it, because they understood that it can save lives. Both the eastern and the western. In addition to the fact that according to the vast majority of experts, all vaccines known and used around the world are effective and there is no significant difference in terms of side effects, it should be noted that if the government were to stick to the western one, vaccinations would be delayed for months, since vaccines cannot be obtained quickly from there. There just aren't that many!
Of course, the Gyurcsánys know this very well too! But it seems that human lives don't matter if they can flaunt a thought-provoking campaign!
