The number of new infections is 426, increasing the total number of identified infections to 798,573 since the beginning of the epidemic. The majority of the 38 who died were elderly and chronically ill, so the number of those who died rose to 29,213.
The number of recovered people is constantly increasing, currently 630,976 people, and the number of active infected people has decreased to 138,384 people. 2,259 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospital, 258 of them are on ventilators.
More than 5 million people have already registered for vaccination and 81% have received it. Vaccination of registered and booked 16-18-year-olds continues today at hospital vaccination points. It is important not to forget the parental consent form at home! A limited amount of Szputnyik and AstraZeneca vaccines can still be booked in the appointment book, and until Tuesday, even a small amount of Pfizer for those who received an SMS. Sinopharm vaccines are still continuously advertised by hospitals thanks to the abundant supplies that arrived in our country. General practitioners can continue vaccination with Sinopharm, Janssen and Moderna vaccines. The mobile application currently in test mode can be downloaded free of charge, which verifies the fact of vaccination, thus enabling the protection certificate to be issued.
