Ferenc Gyurcsány's candidate for Prime Minister, Gergely Karácsony, hinted yesterday that he is ready to cancel the World Athletics Championships if the government does not implement the state project on the construction of the Student City and the Chinese Fudan University as previously laid out.
Magyar Hírlap also reports that Krisztina Baranyi, the left-liberal mayor of Ferencváros, has announced that in June a consultation will be launched in the capital regarding the construction of the campus of the higher education institution.
The questionnaire will contain misleading questions such as "Do the people of Budapest want a Chinese university to be built instead of the student city?"
