The Association of Christian Intellectuals, regardless of denomination, calls on the parishes and congregations of the Carpathian Basin to commemorate the anniversary of the Trianon Peace Edict by ringing bells and praying in 2021.
The sound of the bell calls to prayer, celebrates joy and victory, warns of danger or bids farewell to the dead. A sign of life, proof of survival.
The Union of Christian Intellectuals, therefore, encouraged by the success of its published call for the 100th anniversary of Trianon, asks the Hungarian religious communities of the Carpathian Basin to continue the tradition started, to ring the bells every year on June 4 at 4:30 p.m. and say a Lord's Prayer for the unity of the Hungarian nation. and for the defense of the Christian faith.
