51 people, most of them elderly, chronically ill, died, and 780 more Hungarian citizens were diagnosed with the coronavirus, koronavirus.gov.hu announced on Thursday, highlighting that 4,829,595 people have been vaccinated in Hungary so far, of which 2,814,805 have already received the second they also received a dose of vaccine.
It was written on the government portal: the number of infected people identified in Hungary has increased to 800,368.
The number of those who died rose to 29,380, and those who recovered rose to 655,959. The number of active infected people is 115,029. Hospitals treat 1,836 coronavirus patients, of whom 212 are on ventilators.
There are 16,210 people under official home quarantine, and the number of samples has increased to 5,687,117.
