The speaker of the parliament, László Kövér, imposed HUF 9.6 million on Péter Jakab, the chairman of Jobbik and candidate for prime minister, after he called the ruling party representatives "scumbags" in his parliamentary speech on Monday. This was announced by Péter Jakab himself in a Facebook post.
Comrade Kövér's letter has arrived," said the politician from Jobbik.
László Kövér warned Jakab for the first time as speaker that he would take the floor from him and asked him not to insult his fellow deputies. "Could I have the same opinion about you?" - he asked Jakab Kövér, who said: "please sit down, I've taken the floor from you", then switched off Jakab's microphone.
Péter Jakab concluded his post by saying: "I will never remain silent, even if you take my house as a punishment."
