The Hungarian Village Program is constantly expanding!
While in 2019 HUF 150 billion was spent on village grants, municipal and church tenders, and the development of side roads, in 2020 more than HUF 200 billion, and in 2021 an amount exceeding HUF 250 billion is available for the development of settlements with a population of less than five thousand inhabitants , announced the the government commissioner responsible for the development of modern settlements on Sunday in Bakonszeg, Hajdú-Bihar.
According to Alpár Gyopáros, the program has reached all settlements, 12,000 winning tenders have been announced so far, and HUF 130 billion have been paid to the winners.
The Hungarian Village Program, , is a flexible, fast and constantly expanding program, as a result of which the quality of life of the people living in the countryside improves, and the population of a thousand small settlements increased in the last two years , added the government commissioner.
