41 people died, most of them elderly, chronically ill, and another 213 Hungarian citizens were diagnosed with the coronavirus, koronavirus.gov.hu announced on Wednesday, highlighting that 5,040,222 people have been vaccinated in Hungary so far, of which 3,196,604 have already received the second they also received a dose of vaccine.
It was written on the government portal: the number of infected people identified in Hungary has increased to 802,723. The number of those who died rose to 29,622, and those who recovered rose to 675,082.
The number of active infected people is 98,019. Hospitals treat 1,373 coronavirus patients, of whom 148 are on ventilators.
There are 11,878 people under official home quarantine, the number of samples has increased to 5,756,599.
