28, mostly elderly, chronically ill people died, and another 448 Hungarian citizens were diagnosed with the coronavirus, koronavirus.gov.hu announced on Friday, highlighting that 5,084,642 people have been vaccinated in Hungary so far, of which 3,445,557 have already received the second they also received a dose of vaccine.
It was written on the government portal: the number of infected people identified in Hungary has increased to 803,567. The number of those who died rose to 29,682, and those who recovered rose to 689,166.
The number of active infected people is 84,719. Hospitals treat 999 coronavirus patients, of whom 121 are on ventilators.
There are 10,790 people in official home quarantine, and the number of samples has increased to 5,786,609.
