In the second Gyurcsány government, he was the vice-chairman and head of the work of the state reform committee subordinated to the prime minister, with the rank of government commissioner. From the abolition of the State Reform Commission on July 1, 2007, he was the minister without portfolio responsible for governmental administrative coordination. In this capacity, he is the leader of the state secretaries' meeting that prepares government meetings. From February 18, 2008, he was appointed Minister of Justice and Law Enforcement, and he retained this position in the Bajna government in 2009. One of our insider sources told us an anecdote about Tibor Draskovics and his confident violence.
