Justice Minister Judit Varga wrote the following lines on her social media page a short time ago.
The Court of Justice of the European Union complied with the EP's request and ordered the adjudication of our claim challenging the conditionality of the rule of law in an accelerated procedure.
It is absurd that the board was only able to decide on a simple procedural question that arose as a result of the Sargentini vote in almost 3 years, but now it is devoting only a few months to a decision on one of the most important and complicated legal questions in the history of the Union.
We have known for a long time that the left-liberal politicians in Brussels cannot bear the fact that there are member states that believe in a Europe of sovereign, independent nation-states and reject migration. The current proceedings are also a fine example of the politically motivated conceptual proceedings against us.
However, this will shake the trust in the entire European cooperation.
We will continue to not give in to political blackmail, we will continue to represent Hungarian interests at home, in Brussels and before the Luxembourg court!
