Two photos also clearly illustrate that Gergely Karácsony and his team only have a flair for dirty work, thoughtfulness is unknown to them. This is evidenced by two locations.

This week, the flower bed of the roundabout at the Buda bridgehead of the Széchenyi Chain Bridge was paved, according to the Magyar Hírlap. For decades, the symbolic public square of Budapest, Clark Ádám tér, has had flower beds, which now, according to the mayor, had to be asphalted in order to bring the area into traffic and alleviate the inconvenience for motorists.

On the other hand, there was also a debate in professional circles about whether it is worth transforming the roundabout "temporarily" in order to avoid even greater interruptions in road traffic due to the works starting on June 16.

State Secretary Csaba Dömötör commented on his social media page:

The flower beds at Lánchíd survived the communist decades, but they did not survive the left-wing green politics. Even T-34 tanks spared them in 1956.

After that, let's jump over to the Pest side to the Margaret Bridge for an annoyed smile:

The artwork commemorating the victims of the Mermaid was inaugurated just a few weeks ago. Gergely Karácsony barricaded the scene without any prior consultation. In this way, neither South Koreans coming to our country nor those from the capital can pay their respects to the victims of the tragedy.
