Jobbik has nothing to gain from cooperating with the opposition, writes Mércéje of left-liberal thought.
According to the newspaper: "Let's speak clearly. The amendment to the law adopted on June 15 is not a "rubber bone" (András Stumpf) and not just another "operation" of the "National System of Cynicism" (András Schiffer). The repressive, anti-minority, ethnicist, if you like, post-fascist or micro-fascist nature of the Hungarian government appears in the law amendment in its purest form."
Then the Mérce article elaborates on this at length, and then comes to this conclusion:
"This amendment to the law was voted for by Jobbik, which is part of the six-party opposition grouping together with the government parties...the actions of Jobbik are a disgrace for which there is no excuse. If the opposition coalition wants to keep up the appearance of humanity, then it doesn't just expect an apology from its coalition partner, and in particular it doesn't explain itself, but breaks off its relationship with Jobbik today."
What about our dear conceptual weaving friends? What do you think? Maybe that you will help Jakab win the elections, and then you will be interned in Miskolc and Lyukóbánya?
Did you want to govern with him or not?
Do you need your voters, but only until you win the elections?
Has your tooth just revealed protein to you? (Have you only seen the yellow one so far?)
Did they warm a snake on your bosom?
Up until now, you thought that the only way to get those few hundred thousand voters under Mrs. Gyurcsány's skirt was to go up and down for Jobbik! At most, can they sweep the potatoes from the attic?
Your representatives-candidates-candidates are supported by the micro-fascist Jobbik, is it dark in the background Mr President Jakab?
You conspired to topple Orbán and then what comes after that, who comes? How is this now?
Did you want to climb Jacob's ladder to power? Dead souls! Now your illusions are floating between heaven and earth! If anything, this is a disgrace!
