Following in the footsteps of the founding king of our state, the Szent István Institute starts with the personal testimonies of today's men, announced the institution, which began operations on Father's Day.
ON THE THIRD SUNDAY OF JUNE, FATHER'S DAY, THE SAINT ISTEVAN INSTITUTE OF CHRISTIAN SPIRITUALITY STARTS ITS OPERATIONS.
As a starting point, the Father's Day confessions and "admonitions" of fathers and spiritual fathers of excellent men were organized into a seven-part video series. Imre Bedő, founder of the Men's Club, József Béres, president of the Béres Group, comedian András Péter Kovács, actor-theatre director Pál Oberfrank, Rudolf Semsei, owner of the VakVarjú restaurant family, singer Miklós Varga, and father Gergő Bese speak in the episodes.
The Szent István Institute was created by the Foundation in the Heart of Europe, which promotes Christian democratic values, because following the values of Szent István in the 21st century is just as vital for the development of the future of Hungary and the destiny of the younger generations as it was at the time of the founding of the state, a thousand years ago. .
Today we live in a world in which the sanctity of life is the subject of heated debate, in which it is slowly becoming impossible to know whether someone is a boy or a girl, when human relationships are undergoing a radical transformation in the online space, when the pace of technological development is becoming impossible for the human soul to follow , and when the evisceration of the created world reaches unprecedented proportions. From these phenomena, you can also tell that something is not right, and that there is a lot to do in our lives and in our society! says the statement.
However, there is reason to be confident that the recipe for a safe and fruitful way of life that has been bearing fruit for centuries and that serves our survival even in the most difficult times has been given in Hungary for a thousand years. We have nothing else to do but look for current, fresh answers to the challenges of the 21st century along these lines - for our children and for the next thousand years! they wrote.
The Szent István Institute was founded precisely for this reason with the mission of examining the intellectual heritage of our founding king, the worldview based on Christian social teachings, and the conviction that there is a God and that through him we have a mission for good, in the light of today's challenges, and to bring it to our attention recommend it to the generations now growing up.
This is served by the initial research, the planned round table discussions and debates, and by shaping the public discourse, the Institute wishes to show this way of thinking with contemporary tools, actions, clashing arguments and ready for dialogue, the announcement states.
