The series has been in the making for three years, and with the help of lots of photos and readable travel descriptions, it guides hikers through the best hiking areas in Hungary - in an easy-to-carry, durable edition.
The editors of Metzészjáró.hu, operated by the Hungarian Hikers Association, created the format with today's needs in mind. By scanning the QR codes placed on the maps of the spiral-bound books that can be carried in your pocket, you can open the tours in the Hiker app, so anyone can navigate along the trails with their mobile phone.
The series presents the central mountains of the country through 410 tours, which are designed to discover not only popular destinations but also lesser-known corners of the area. There are 20 in the smaller books, and 40 in the larger books, from easy walks that can be enjoyed by beginner hikers to more strenuous hikes.
