Five patients died and another 55 Hungarian citizens were diagnosed with the coronavirus infection, koronavirus.gov.hu announced on Thursday, highlighting that 5,523,878 people have been vaccinated in Hungary so far, 5,126,330 of whom have already received the second dose of the vaccine.
The number of infected people identified in Hungary increased to 808,393.
The number of those who died rose to 30,004, and those who recovered rose to 740,790. The number of active infected people is 37,599. 72 coronavirus patients are being treated in the hospital, 13 of them are on ventilators.
There are 1,678 people under official home quarantine, the number of samples has increased to 6,179,187, the government portal reported.
