The government provides further assistance to local governments, providing HUF 21 billion to restart the local economy and boost community life.
Thanks to the government's decision, a total of 56 health, educational, environmental, transport, cultural and tourism developments will be implemented in 40 settlements. This not only improves the quality of life of the residents of the affected settlements, but also strengthens the local economy through the investments.
Roads, bicycle paths, public parks, medical clinics, schools, and kindergartens are being built or renewed all over the country. Villages, small towns and cities with county rights alike benefited from the support, regardless of party affiliation, so several opposition settlements, including Szombathely, Dunaújváros, Budaörs and Kazincbarcika, received significant funds from the current support.
