Since 2010, the Hungarian government has proven with its actions that it works for families, supports and helps them, Katalin Novák, minister without portfolio responsible for families, said during her presentation at the 10th European Large Family Conference in Keszthely on Saturday.
Katalin Novák explained at a conference organized by the National Association of Large Families and the European Large Families Confederation - with the motto "The cradle of sustainability is the family": one of the important pillars of sustainable family policy is political intent. There should be leaders of the country and the community who consider it important that families can remain strong and become stronger.
In 2010, the Hungarian government decided to make family allowances work-based, so there is now an opportunity to increase the amount that can be used to support families.
In the following year, thanks to people's work, the budget includes three times as much support for families as in 2010.
Katalin Novák added: if economic growth reaches 5.5 percent, next year the government will return a significant part of the personal income tax paid to families raising children. I also want to acknowledge that work has honor.
The minister without a portfolio emphasized that a sustainable family policy also requires supporters and real communities. The National Association of Large Families (NOE) has been consistently working for Hungarian families for three decades, representing real communities and values.
"The family is the cradle of love, the family is the key to maintaining love ," Katalin Novák said, and our goal is to maintain love. - The maintenance of the Hungarian nation, the preservation of Hungarian culture, the passing on of values from generation to generation, the strengthening and maintenance of the community of the Hungarian people are goals that we can easily be enthusiastic about.
