The specialized clinic in Dunakesz was renewed with the support of 2 billion forints from the government, the cost of the investment was 2.3 billion forints. The institution was handed over by Miklós Kásler, Minister of Human Resources, on Thursday.

The central building was renovated, a new psychiatric unit was created, and parking lots were added to the institution, the minister said. The health care of the future places emphasis on prevention and extending the period spent in health. Miklós Kásler added that the key issue in the transformation of healthcare is changing primary care.

It is crucial that the patient receives it at his place of residence, which is possible in diagnostics and therapy, he said.
It is important that doctors have digital access to the information in seconds, on the basis of which they organize the patient's further treatment, the minister said.

The government spent 500 billion forints on the health development of the countryside, the result of which was that rural specialist clinics were in a significantly better condition than those in the capital or those belonging to the central region, Miklós Kásler said.

The government has therefore launched HUF 700 billion in development for the development of institutions located in the central region and in the capital. This affects three central hospitals, 11 national institutes, 13 hospitals and 32 outpatient clinics, he added.

The government is spending HUF 64 billion to improve the renovation, equipment and infrastructure of the specialized clinics, ten specialized clinics have already been renovated, Miklós Kásler said. Bence Tuzson, the government secretary of the Prime Minister's Cabinet and the region's Fidesz member of parliament, said that the organization and cooperation that was realized in Dunakesz is exemplary.

The renovation of the clinic is one of the most important investments of the past forty years, he added.
