The swordsman Áron Szilágyi reached the finals for the third time in a row, and in the finals he easily defeated the Italian Luigi Samele with a score of 15:7, making him a gold medalist for the third time, and no one has ever succeeded in this event before.
At the beginning of the final, Szilágyi concentrated to the maximum, and by the time Samele stepped up, the score was already 3-0 in favor of the Hungarian boy, and it was even 7-1, when the Italian scored four times in a row. Szilágyi needed a calming spray so that he could take a breath. The victory of the Hungarian boy could not be recorded at that time, if only because the Italian overcame 12-6 in the semi-finals.
However, the rest was good, after the restart four more Hungarian tuses followed, and although Samele was successful twice after that, Szilágyi's moments followed again, who was quite simply irresistible and left his opponent, who was increasingly losing hope, standing. After 12:7, three more Hungarian tuses, and with this, Áron Szilágyi became the champion of Tokyo after London and Rio.
Well done, Aaron! Hungarians go for it!
