If a government stands up for the traditional family or doesn't ask from migrants, the Brussels elite immediately realizes that it is not democratic and threatens to withdraw the funds. This is ideological blackmail! Fidesz member of the European Parliament Balázs Hidvéghi spoke about this on Hír TV.
The representative explained that those who act against the will of the Brussels "elite" immediately accuse the conservative governments of lacking the rule of law, while they approve every step of the left-liberal governments.
According to Balázs Hidvéghi, lies appear in the report on the rule of law, for example, they talk about the lack of press freedom in Hungary , even though journalists are killed not in our country, but in very democratic countries.
Hidvéghi also explained that Brussels wants to have a say in more and more issues that do not belong to them and does not just make recommendations, but calls them to account, threatens and blackmails them.
It is characteristic of the so-called Western democracy that the referendum is evaluated as a provocation, even though it is the most democratic form, the direct solicitation of people's opinions.
Balázs Hidvéghi does not see a possibility for the basic position in Brussels to change in the short term, but we must not accept this, we must constantly strive to change the situation.
