Would Jesus go to Pride? - the challenging question has been asked recently by several people who call themselves Catholic theologians. And they answered: yes, in fact, he would be there in the first row! In fact, the question itself is bleeding from several wounds, not to mention the answer - writes the Franciscan monk Dénes Hess in his writing, who also sheds light on the efforts of satanic lobby groups, media moguls and background states that target our children.
The meaning of the word pride in Hungarian in the dictionary is: self-esteem, pride, defiance, haughtiness, haughtiness, haughtiness, ostentatiousness, boasting, flaunting. All negative expressions. At the bottom of all these words lies arrogance. The Holy Scriptures describe pride as the principle of Satan, it is the most defining characteristic of his being. Not by the way, it is one of the seven deadly sins, but in fact it is the root of all sins, as rebellion against God and the order of his Creation.
Jesus never went to the crowd, but the crowd sought him! Jesus did not want to single out any social group at the expense of others, despite that. He preached the Kingdom of God and the conditions for entering it. The crowd had to go to Jesus, align with him, and not the other way around. It is spiritual immaturity to think that Jesus is on the side of someone or someones against others.
Who are they who plan and organize Pride? There is nothing new under the sun, Saint Paul already wrote 2,000 years ago: "And this is no wonder, since Satan himself pretends to be an angel of light. So it is not a big deal if his servants also pretend to be servants of justice. Their end will correspond to their deeds.” (2 Corinthians 11:14-15)
I am sobered by the words of St. Paul when he talks about true (original) human dignity:
"Avoid fornication! Every sin that man commits is outside the body; but he who commits fornication sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you and whom you received from God, so you are not your own? Because they paid a high price for you! So glorify God in your body." (1 Corinthians 6:18-20)
Jesus Christ is present everywhere. His presence is as unnoticed and suppressed as the lives of simple Christian families who are believers and persecuted for their faith.
The one who will definitely be there in the crowd - invisible, but still clearly perceptible and loud - is the prince of pride and arrogance, who leads people astray.
So let's be careful how and where we decide!
