Please don't let your imagination run wild! Here we are talking about cross-border economic development and job creation programs in Bodrogköz!
The National Strategic Research Institute is organizing an economic development action plan based on industrial hemp as a unique initiative at the European Union level in cooperation with Hungarian businesses in Northern Hungary and the Eastern Highlands.
The regional action plan called "FUTURE IN HEMP - Kenderben a blöst" is implemented within the framework of the Interreg VA Slovakia-Hungary cooperation program (SKHU/1802/3.1/012). The regional action plan consists of six unique but connected projects: transport infrastructure development (new road), various hemp processing plants on both sides of the "border", community networking and related education and training programs will be implemented.
As part of the project, the new public road between Nagygéres (SK) and Nagyrozvágy (HU), approved by the agreement of the heads of government of the two countries, will finally be realized, connecting the two settlements after centuries of separation. The total budget of the INTEREG TAPE project is around 7 million euros.
This week, with the coordination of the NSKI, the collaboration partners, with the participation of employment policy workforce development experts, held an offline professional workshop, which is extremely important in the process of project implementation, but unfortunately had to be postponed due to the epidemic, in Nagykapos in the Highlands, in order to jointly review the timely tasks of the development projects.
