The third round of vaccinations against the coronavirus are continuously administered here. The vaccine is provided nationwide, and it is delivered to nursing homes by employees of government offices. Almost four thousand doses of vaccine were taken to 62 locations in the capital on Wednesday. Since the first of August, the booster vaccination has been available for the first time in Europe, in Hungary.

Virologist Miklós Rusvai spoke on Kossuth Rádio that those who have not done so should get vaccinated, because in the next wave of the epidemic, it is expected that the most seriously ill and victims will be among the unvaccinated, M1 News reported.

The injection points operate at full capacity even in summer. Now mostly third-round vaccinations are given.

The third round of vaccination is provided throughout the country and is continuously administered in hospitals as well as in nursing homes. Employees of the government office deliver the vaccine to social institutions. The delivery is continuous, almost four thousand third-round vaccines were taken to institutions in the capital on Wednesday.

You can book an appointment for the third vaccination on the Eeszt.gov.hu ​​website, but it can also be requested from the general practitioner, four months after the second vaccination.

The number of people vaccinated is approaching 5,660,000, and almost 5,550,000 have already received the second dose.

In the next wave of the coronavirus epidemic, it is expected that the most seriously ill and victims will be among the unvaccinated, said Miklós Rusvai. He put it this way: that is why it is important that those who have not yet done so should definitely request the vaccine now. The specialist added: the symptoms of the delta variant of the coronavirus can easily be confused with allergies: tearing, runny nose and throat scratching can be characteristic of both. However, those who get the infection as a vaccinated person can expect milder complaints.
