Above all, Gergely Karácsony's pro-migrant policy is so important to him that he even had to talk about it in Die Zeit. Apparently so that he could directly inform his friends in Brussels that if the rainbow coalition were to come to power in the spring elections, then no one in the EU would have any doubt that the Gyurcsánys would welcome illegal immigrants with open arms, in contrast to the anti-migrant stance of the Orbáns .
Of course, we knew this even without the fact that Karácsony had put this in the window in the German liberal paper. They have been aware of this in Brussels for years. They are probably also aware that Karácsony has not been famous for his truthfulness and trustworthiness in the past period, so they expect him to mention at every opportunity the unchanging fulfillment of the expectations that are important to them.
The piquancy of the case is that the mayor resolved this by indicating in the interview in question that he is otherwise a liar. Especially in the case of migrants. The reason he doesn't support illegal immigration on his election posters is because you can't win an election with that.
And then comes this fresh story about the priest's murder from France.
It was not so long ago that a migrant beheaded a high school teacher in the open street in front of his colleagues while shouting Allah akbar. And Karácsony stands on the podium - according to party-state terminology - to campaign from Battonya to Nemesmedves, and talks about everything, except that he would certainly allow illegal migrants into the country. For him, "ensuring the rights of asylum seekers is a moral duty".
It is certainly a moral duty for Karácsony to ensure the rights of the one who brutally murdered the priest who gave him accommodation, or the one who cut off the head of the teacher in the open street, not to mention the other terrible terrorist acts committed only in France.
And all this behind the voters' backs, openly stating that you cannot win an election with a migrant-friendly policy. He openly states that he pursues a pro-migrant policy even if the voters do not want it, and if the candidate for prime minister told them this, they would certainly not elect him.
Karácsony also states with this interview excerpt that he has no moral ties to his own voters. Even though they applaud him after his campaign speeches, he will not implement their content even if the electorate might vote for him precisely because of them.
For him, the will of the Brussels mainstream is the most important – said or unsaid – to support migration, help the gender lobby, and the fulfillment of the LGBTQ movement in Hungary. In view of this, the rapid demolition of Saint István's heritage.
With his secret Christmas plans, he is trying to do what the overwhelming majority of Hungarians do not want to tolerate in the country at all. Amazing perversion.
Previously, the mayor was only able to tolerate the alliance with Gyurcsán after several Unicums had been brought down, but today he is apparently very comfortable with lying, concealment, and anti-Hungarianism.
Tell me, what kind of person is he who nominates himself for any kind of public office after this? Can you find words for it?
