The aim of the prayer movement is to achieve, in its sacred way, as many representatives as possible who accept all ten points of the Ten Commandments as a moral norm and try to live according to them both in public life and as a private person - the originator of the initiative, Péter Gál, told the Magyar Nemzet .
The director of the community center in Zamárd recommends that we pray from August 20 until next April so that politicians interested in disinterestedness and questioning public morality do not come to power.
- The aim of those who published the call is to have at least one person praying for this in every settlement, and the prayer movement is taking up such a long time to achieve this, as its word will gradually spread. It brings together individual members of denominations, and everyone prays according to their heart, there are no restrictions, added the organizer.
On behalf of the KDNP, László Surján, former Minister of Public Welfare, joined the call, who believes that next year the country will decide not only on the personalities of the politicians, but also on the future of Hungary.
- I was happy to join the initiative, because I am convinced that next year we will not only vote for parties, we will not only have to decide who will be the prime minister, but we will also have to choose a direction. Will we drift towards worthlessness, losing even the remnants of our sanity, as is happening in many countries of the world, or will public good and public morality prevail by listening to common sense.
The Judeo-Christian tradition summarized the rules for the human community's coexistence in the Ten Commandments. If we stick to this, our lives would be happier and we could leave a more beautiful world to our descendants - the Christian Democrat politician informed our newspaper.
