3 patients died, so the number of those who died rose to 30,077. The number of people who have recovered is constantly increasing, currently 778,401 people, and the number of active infected people has risen to 5,586 people. 208 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospital, 26 of them are on ventilators.
The delta virus mutant is spreading in several European countries and even in our country, and the unvaccinated are the most at risk, so we ask that those who have not yet been vaccinated contact their family doctor or register and book an appointment online.
Vaccination is still the strongest protection against the severe course of the disease. Less than 1% of those vaccinated become ill, and the course of the disease is usually much milder than those vaccinated. The majority of the Hungarian population has registered for vaccination and those who haven't, it's not too late. The registration website and online appointment booking are also constantly open.
