More and more people are following the Hungarian migration policy, and more and more people dare to say that they do not approve of European Union institutions interfering in the sovereign decisions of member states, the Minister of Justice wrote on his Facebook page.
Judit Varga highlighted that the former leader of the Brexit negotiations, Michel Barnier, who fought to the extreme for the interests of the EU, announced that he would initiate a referendum on the issue of migration this month.
As Prime Minister Viktor Orbán stated in his speech in Bled a week ago, according to Barnier, the legal sovereignty of the member states in the matter of immigration must be returned so that their sovereign decisions cannot be overruled by the Court of Justice of the European Union or the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.
More and more people dare to say that they do not approve of EU institutions exceeding their powers and interfering in the sovereign decisions of member states. As a result of the planned referendum, they may also realize in France that the competences in the matter of migration must be returned to the member states.
From the beginning, our country has maintained that the settlement of immigrants is equal to the cultural self-abandonment of Europe. To this end, the southern border was built, and in the spirit of this, we asked the opinion of the Hungarian people through a referendum.
Then in both cases they launched an attack against us, but today more and more people realize that Hungary made the right decision. In fact, they would do it after us today.
We look forward to the developments!
