Strict measures are also being introduced in Italy and Slovenia, reports Magyar Hírlap.
As you can read , the covid green card is mandatory in Italy, which certifies that its owner has either been vaccinated, has a valid negative PCR test, or has undergone the infection. The measure comes into effect on October 15 and aims to increase vaccination coverage. Those who cannot show this will be immediately suspended from work, and after five days they will no longer be paid. By the way, this covid green card is already mandatory - downloaded to your phone or presented on paper - to enter Italian train stations, cinemas, restaurants, gyms and swimming pools.
School teachers are also required to have a vaccination certificate, and several teachers have already been sent away due to their lack of this. Employees and businesses can expect serious penalties if it turns out that someone is working without a valid covid green card. The maximum penalty can reach one thousand five hundred euros. So far, sixty-five percent of Italians have been vaccinated, despite this, the number of new infections is rising again due to the spread of the delta mutant. In the southern European state, 4.6 million cases have been registered since last March, and the virus has claimed the lives of more than 130,000 people.
According to the latest news, only vaccinated people can work in public offices in Slovenia. Employees must receive the second vaccination no later than the end of November.
