József Pálinkás of the Új Világ Néppárt and Péter Márki-Zay, the president of the Mendiki Magyarországa Movement and still in the running for prime ministerial candidate, held a forum on Sunday evening in the Belga Söröző in Debrecen, but an unexpected incident cut the event short, reports debreceninap.hu .
József Pálinkás writes in his Facebook post about the event that they had to hold a street forum due to unfriendly reasons beyond their control. According to his claim, the owner of the restaurant asked them to leave after an hour, and according to another photo, they complied.
József Pálinkás told the Debrecen Nap that the man who asked them to leave (whom he did not know was the owner or the operator) rather irritated and somewhat threateningly told them to leave immediately, because MMM (Péter Márki-Zay Péter movement).
He immediately turned off the lights in the room where we were the only ones. About an hour and a half after we got in there. I am not aware that any of the guests had a problem with our presence, we were the only ones in that room, there was a conversation at a normal volume (only one person spoke at a time), which we broadcast on Facebook. We also wanted to have dinner, but we did it elsewhere in a very nice restaurant that can be recommended to everyone (There are others who are not afraid in Debrecen!)
József Pálinkás outlined the events.
Although the owner/operator of the pub did not mention police action, he acted quite aggressively. After telling us to leave immediately, he turned off the lights. We live in such a country. The question is, do we want to live in such a country?
- wrote the politician in response to Debrecen Nap's question.
