As often happens, the opposition media managed to compose a tendentious discrediting campaign in connection with the World Hunting and Nature Exhibition, once again losing its only legitimate function, objective information. Or just information. But why does the success of a government event hurt the bush fighters of the neoliberal mainstream so much?

The promotion of the "One with Nature" World Hunting and Nature Exhibition, which will be held between September 25 and October 14, began already in the spring of this year, as MTI's first news about the event appeared. It is worth taking a look at the headlines of those who enjoy the role of independent and objective:

The list could be continued for a long time, but it would not change the overall picture: reading the opinion articles of the opposition "media" that lied to the news, anyone can rightly feel that they are at the mercy of a banana republic, a victim of those who arbitrarily seize power, and, as is customary in normal dictatorships, one day they themselves may become a stuffed preparation. , if critical to NER.

And the visual materials are even more pronounced than the verbal ones, quoting a classic, "fucking strong" images were created of the lack of interest surrounding the exhibition and the empty congo pavilions. Of course, this required some trickery, which is obviously allowed to the anointed priests of the free press. This is how Zsolt Bayer remembered the trick on his own blog:

And, of course, they "prove" that it's real with photos. So, when it turns out that the World's Fair is successful and attracts crowds despite the ominous events, they continue to promote it from a different approach, ignoring the fact that they are refuting their own previous claims. In such cases, it is really chilling to read back the thoughts of István Bibó in 1942:

„The fact that a community in a false position does not face something does not mean that the fact in question has not been noticed, but rather that the dominant opinion of the community in a false position develops certain voices with which it repeats findings that are unpleasant to it again and again. knocks down or chokes. The hysterical worldview is closed and perfect, it explains everything and justifies everything, and everything it asserts and everything it prescribes is perfectly compatible with each other. Everything is right in it. It has only one flaw. Everything is right in it not because it corresponds to real values ​​and real facts, but because it incorporates the requirements of a false situation into a system and says exactly what the person in the situation wants to hear. ”

And the fact that the opposition community does not want to hear, and therefore their press does not want to bring to their attention, is that the "One with Nature" World Hunting and Nature Exhibition is indeed a success: on its eighth day, almost 55,000 people visited the Hungexpo, thus the central the attendance of the venue has already exceeded 180,000, and by Saturday evening, a total of more than 850,000 people participated in the entire series of events, which on Sunday, among other things, awaited those interested with the Szarvasbőgő European Championship and the closing day of the FeHoVa PLUSZ trade fair.

Here we are now, and we are looking for the answer, why does another popular government event hurt so much? Maybe this is how they are trying to compensate for the scandalous organizational problems of the opposition primary?

Whatever the answer, let me make a few comments about the story, which I feel is far from over. As a woman and a staunch animal defender, I can say that sport hunting will never be one of my hobbies, and at the same time, as a journalist, I would not venture to apostrophize my political opinion as news. Because what the colleagues present over there is just an orgy of tendentious opinions and has nothing to do with the monumental event mentioned above.

Furthermore, wildlife management is a branch that requires a wide range of knowledge and experience, and commenting on it as a layman will only lead to self-immolation, which is why I myself do not undertake it. On the other hand, I will whisper to the animal lovers sitting on the other side of the trenches, who know everything, that meat, including game and fish, is not made from soy milk, so those who are not totally vegan can turn down the pharisee's volume knob. Whoever it is, should finally set an example and be tolerant in his actions, if he is already doing so well at the level of words.

But I also have to note that the cute labradors, retrievers, vizslas and other hunting dogs were definitely bred for bloody hunts back then, not to juggle tennis balls in forty square meter city center apartments before their loving owners fatten them up.

Finally, here is the biggest and at the same time insoluble contradiction that arises in people's minds in connection with those who incite people against the World Hunting Exhibition: how is it possible that while the "killing" of our animals bothers them so much, our fetuses don't in the least?
