A Florida elementary school took its students to a gay bar. They did not deny the incident, but according to them, the students received a "child-friendly" menu.
A Florida public elementary school took children to a gay bar this week, according to photos of the trip posted on social media by a school board member.
I am honored to have been invited by the school as a chaperone on your trip to the incredible Rosie's Bar!” wrote the board member. The rest of the post reveals that the bar is visited every year with students, where they attend presentations.
The case was surrounded by great public outrage, several people objected to why the young people were taken to the bar at all, in addition to what doctrines they had to listen to a presentation.
Due to the outrage, the school also spoke out. They confirmed the fact of the trip, and also said that the bar was closed when the students were there, and that the students were given a "kid-friendly" menu, which we don't know how to interpret.
