A Catholic community center was built in Telkin with seventy million HUF government support and the cooperation of the church community of the settlement, the State Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office responsible for church and ethnic relations announced on Saturday at the dedication of the community center.
Miklós Soltész reminded: A new church was built in Páty, and together with the Reformed, they renovated a building that serves the community and young people, the church and parish were renovated in Budajenő, the church and community center in Perbál, and the church in Tinny and Telkin.
The community definitely wanted Telkin to build the community center as well, he added, highlighting that it was a good decision that "with such strong cooperation, such great value was created."
The State Secretary emphasized: the community must encourage and support the priests and leaders in their further work, which will be even more difficult in the next period, as forces have moved around the world that are trying to destroy Christians and completely destroy Christian teaching, the created world esteem.
This can be prevented by renovating churches and strengthening the community spiritually and physically, he believed, adding: "we are fighting for the lives of young people, for the future of young people".
He said: the government will always be a partner in this, which is why he also supported the construction of the community center.
Miklós Soltész asked the young people to take care of the building, so that it can bring joy to the next generation in a hundred years, and to appreciate the work of architects, contractors and people who do a lot for the community.
Before the blessing of the community center and its users, Antal Spányi, the bishop of the Diocese of Székesfehérvár, celebrated a confirmation mass in the church of Telki.
