The application deadline for the Klebelsberg Training Scholarship Program has been extended. The purpose of the scholarship established by the Government is to provide adequately qualified, professionally dedicated and experienced teachers.
The scholarship program is open to Hungarian-speaking students studying in higher education in Hungary, living in Hungary or in a country neighboring Hungary, who at the time of submission of the application have been admitted to a higher education institution offering uniform, undivided teacher training, special pedagogy or teacher training, or have already completed their studies at the time of submission of the application they continue.
The purpose and condition of the program is that the students participating in the teacher education program are employed in public education institutions after obtaining the diploma certifying their education , for which they receive a significant amount of stipend during their studies.
The amount of the scholarship can be HUF 125,000, HUF 250,000 or HUF 375,000/semester, the assessment of which depends on the applicant's academic results, which major he studies and which region he chooses to work in.
The scholarship program 2013/2014.
since the start of the academic year, 4,109 students have received the scholarship, with a total amount of HUF 5,808,000,000. Among them , since September 2018, 1,160 scholarship recipients who have obtained a teacher's degree and professional qualification have started their teaching career in public education institutions.
The 2021/2022. The academic application period started on October 18, 2021, with an extended deadline for submitting applications until November 15, 2021. The application must be submitted both electronically and on paper. Applications are evaluated and judged during November-December.
