The number of vaccinated people is 5,992,142, of which 5,768,941 have already received their second vaccination, and 1 million 527 thousand have already received their third vaccination.
8,370 new infections were confirmed, bringing the total number of identified infections to 939,784 since the beginning of the epidemic. Most of the 116 people who died were elderly and chronically ill, so the number of those who died rose to 31,867. The number of people who have recovered is constantly increasing, currently 818,336 people, and the number of active infected people has risen to 89,581 people. 5,147 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospital, of which 509 are on ventilators, according to the government portal koronavirus.gov.hu
