It is a good feeling to experience that Hungary has become a model state in Europe in many areas. Migration, for example, is a question where everyone is interested in the Hungarian answers - wrote Justice Minister Judit Varga in her Facebook post on Monday afternoon, speaking to the staff of the Spanish press.
The staff of the Spanish press were also primarily interested in these Hungarian solutions, with whom we also touched on current affairs. We discussed the events taking place on the Polish border, as well as the hypocritical double standards of the Brussels bureaucracy.
The minister wrote on her social media page only yesterday under the title European issues, common points:
I had a discussion with Juan González Barba, the Spanish Secretary of State for EU Affairs. The meeting discussed the EU's enlargement policy, in which our country takes a strong position: Serbia must be included among the member states and the accession of the Western Balkan countries must not stand in the way. The future of Europe does not lie in a shrinking and backward, but in an expanding alliance, which is made up of strong and sovereign nation-states.
I expressed a similarly strong opinion on the issue of migration: the most effective method to stop illegal immigration is the construction of a border lock, which was proven on the Polish border after the Hungarian one. Now all we have to do is wait for the Union to decide whether it will finally be willing to take its part in the financing of the measures that ensure the protection of Europe.
A common point is the series of conferences on the future of Europe, where our country ranks second among the member states in the number of registered events. We agreed that this is an excellent opportunity for citizens to once again be at the center of European politics and to be able to say what kind of Europe they want to live in.
