The number of vaccinated people is 6,072,192, of which 5,816,050 people already received the second vaccination, and 2,153,117 people already received the third vaccination. 12,165 new infected people were confirmed, thus increasing the total number of identified infected people to 1,057,017 since the beginning of the epidemic. Most of the 185 people who died were elderly and chronically ill, so the number of those who died rose to 33,704. The number of people who have recovered is constantly increasing, currently 857,451 people, and the number of active infected people has risen to 165,862 people. 6,858 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospital, 680 of them are on ventilators. On the third day of the Vaccination Action Week, another 132,000 vaccinations were administered. In the first three days, a total of 388,000 vaccinations took place, of which 319,000 received the third booster vaccination and nearly 48,000 people who had not been vaccinated decided to receive their first vaccination.

Less than 1% of those vaccinated become ill, and the course of the disease is usually much milder in those vaccinated. The third booster vaccination is also recommended for everyone who received the previous vaccination more than 4 months ago. The booster vaccination can increase immunity to 80-90% again.

As part of the Vaccination campaign week, you can get vaccinated at hospital vaccination points from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. without prior registration or appointment. Hospitals across the country are waiting for those arriving with increased vaccination capacity either for the first, missed second, or third booster vaccination. Unvaccinated people can come to the vaccination point without prior registration, in which case they will be registered on the spot. Those who arrive without an appointment will be vaccinated in order of arrival. Those who registered in advance and booked an appointment online can avoid waiting.
