This time too, the Hungarian inscriptions on the gate of the fair are missing, because it seems that this gesture could not be extorted from the town hall this year either. Thank you!
It seems that the organizers of the Cluj Christmas fair, which officially opened on Friday, love to stick to traditions: next to the Romanian inscriptions, the Hungarian inscriptions on the gates of the fair are "naturally" missing this time as well.
The RMDSZ local government representatives of the city council allegedly requested this from the group of companies organizing the fair several times - Councilor Béla-Gergely Rácz indicated this on Facebook - what's more, according to the post, they also offered their help in this matter, but true to tradition, they again talked about multilingual communication they forgot.
Last year's event in the main square was canceled due to the epidemic, but many of our readers will surely remember that the organizers ignored the city's 50,000 Hungarians in 2019, and then, under pressure from the Musai-Muszáj action group fighting for multilingualism, a miracle finally happened: during the march , the also Hungarian inscriptions in the fair.
