It was stated at the press conference of the Center for Basic Rights entitled "StopGender - Child Protection Referendum" that in Western Europe it is no longer possible to speak freely about the gender issue, but Hungarians can even express their opinion about it in a referendum.
Eszter Párkányi, an analyst at the Center for Fundamental Rights, presented the latest public opinion poll data of their institute, from which it can be concluded that Hungarian society is increasingly of the same opinion regarding the gender issue.
The Center for Fundamental Rights asked the same two questions in April and November. Half a year ago, 67 percent of respondents answered yes to one of the questions, whether our biological gender is an innate trait To the other question, whether there are only two genders, 66 percent of respondents answered yes in the spring, while in November it was already 73 percent.
- While in the spring there was two-thirds agreement, today it is approaching three-quarters - Eszter Párkáni the data. He added that the Center for Fundamental Rights has been dealing with the gender issue and its effects on society and politics for years, and was the first in Hungary to draw attention to the fact that the Istanbul Convention is a Trojan horse of gender propaganda.
Miklós Szánthó , director of the Center for Fundamental Rights, described gender ideology as "very clever and terrible at the same time."
- If someone calls a woman pretty, it is classified and condemned as sexism, while it is presented as a positive when promoting the most deviant sexual behaviors among children. The Hungarian Parliament is accused of putting pedophilia and gender theory under the same umbrella in the Child Protection Act, even though it is gender ideology that sexualizes children by popularizing LGBTQ content, he explained.
