In the "jungle" of family benefits, the government has created an online family support calculator to help you navigate, the minister without portfolio responsible for families announced in a video statement on Facebook on Wednesday.
Katalin Novák said that the calculator helps to estimate what support each family is entitled to and how much money this means for them.
The politician recalled that the government had adopted many measures to help families in the last decade.
Among the others, such as the maternity support, chocolate, loan forgiveness or home renovation support, he listed.
Since nowadays it is difficult to navigate among the many types of support, that is why they decided to launch the family support calculator, he added.
On the web interface, he continued, some data on basic living conditions must be entered. For example, whether they are married, whether they have children, if so, how old they are, and if there are more, how old they are. Based on these, the calculator will provide you with help in applying for family allowances.
He added: he is confident that thanks to the family allowance calculator, the complex system of family allowances in Hungary will become more understandable.
Katalin Novák said in the video statement, "They can use the subsidies and, thanks to this, they can raise their children in even better conditions or wait for the baby to be born."
