From January, the state support for baby bonds will double, from HUF 6,000 to HUF 12,000, announced the minister without portfolio responsible for families on Thursday.
Katalin Novák said in the video posted on her social media page that this is a form of parental savings that the child can use from the age of 18.
The politician emphasized: today, the baby bond is available not only for Hungarian children born within the borders, but also for Hungarian children born outside the borders, since the "umbilical cord program" was launched in 2018.
The minister without portfolio encouraged everyone: if you have a child, take out a baby bond, choose this form of savings, which also earns interest.
