A larger shipment of vaccines has arrived at Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport, it will be possible to vaccinate the youngest age group with Pfizer vaccines against the coronavirus, it was said in the current morning news of the M1 channel on Tuesday.
Immunization of children between the ages of 5 and 11 will begin on Wednesday. In the first round, 69,000 people from the affected age group will receive the vaccine.
Parents have been able to register for vaccination online for days. Children can receive the vaccine at designated hospital vaccination points as well as at family pediatricians, they said.
Parents can make an appointment to receive the German-American developed Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine against the coronavirus, the Comirnaty vaccine, on www.eeszt.gov.hu .
Logging in from the logistics center in Vecsés, M1's correspondent said that this is the center where the vaccines will be sorted and placed in cars, which will be delivered on Tuesday, so that the vaccination of children aged 5-11 can start nationwide on Wednesday.
About a hundred cars will start delivering the vaccines at 9 a.m., and the first dose will arrive at the Heim Pál Children's Hospital in Budapest.
