Balázs Hidvéghi, an independent representative of the European Parliament, posted the speech and video in which he talked about gender madness on his social media page. Here.
"When Brussels attacks the most basic elements of European culture, we can say one thing: so far and no more!" We do not want a Europe where Christmas cannot be called Christmas, and women and men cannot be called women and men! This destruction must be stopped!
The full text of my speech:
Dear ladies and gentlemen! Political correctness and gender madness have once again struck Europe. The Commission wants a Europe where women cannot be called women and men cannot be called men. Where it is recommended not to use names like Mária and János. And, where Christmas vacation should be called winter vacation.
Well, we Central Europeans have the odd feeling that we've seen this before. We have deja vu from the time when we had to say Christmas instead of Christmas and Santa instead of Santa Claus. Only this was the case under the totalitarian communist dictatorship. And in 2021, here in the European Union, we are in the same place. George Orwell must be turning in his grave.
Let me say a few words to my former party family, the European People's Party, and especially to the leadership of the People's Party. Well, this is exactly where your suicidal policy has led. That's what you get from always giving in to every crazy left-wing idea. Don't you think it's a shame that all of this happened under a European Commission led by the People's Party?
And finally, a few words to Commissioner Dalli, who did not have the courage to come here today. Revoking this absurd guidance was overdue and not enough. You must cancel immediately! Thanks!"
