There are two dominant political forces in today's Hungary, and both operate with emotions. The government side, which we call right-wing, gathers its camp by influencing emotions, but the opposition left wants to influence emotions in the same way. However, there is a huge difference in the emotional impact, because while Viktor Orbán appeals to positive and even noble emotions, such as love of God and patriotism, the left clearly affects negative emotions, and not with subtle methods, but with incitement. Its main weapon is incitement, influencing human envy and base instincts. What do we hear every day in the communication between the two sides?
The right-wing government announced the trinity of God, country, and family, and in these areas it affects positive emotions, which can also be called noble emotions. Those who have these feelings, respond to it and support it, vote for it, keep this government in power for three consecutive terms now and will continue to do so in the next.
But what is the watchword of the left? It's just inciting hatred against O1G, the Prime Minister who announced this noble program. Then there is the slander, which is again just incitement, hatred and the worst emotion is envy. Whoever has envy in him, the left has a won cause, because he stands up, hates, envies and votes for the cheaters. He doesn't even hear the slogans of the right wing, their noble sentiments have no effect. God, home, family are peas in a pod for them, these words do not resonate with them, either because they do not have such feelings, or because they prefer to listen to inciting texts, they believe the words of their politicians and the media, who twist the meaning of the words, who make them believe with them to steal, steal, steal. They don't hear anything else. This is the reason why more than 40% vote for the old comrades who have lied morning, noon and night since the 40s. Left-wing propaganda has always been very strong and remains so to this day, because it affects negative emotions. Let's hate the rich, take everything from them, divide it among ourselves and let there be equality. But as they say, the left always runs out of other people's money and that's when the problem is.
We saw this in 2006, when they sold off the national assets and put the country in debt. We see this in the capital led by the left, let's sell the City Hall, cry that Fidesz doesn't give enough money, even though we have already spent the Krőzus treasure on the many advisers and functionaries close to the party. Let's push everything on Fidesz, incite against them, so that people don't hear the noble slogans. The right-wing appeals to such noble emotions as love of God and patriotism, sympathy for and desire to help Hungarians torn across the border, and the preservation of traditional families.
Will that 40% of people hear this? You can't hear it, otherwise you wouldn't vote for the successors of your old comrades. Who in the whole world invented something nobler than this? The preservation of Christian culture, keeping the Christian values of Saint Stephen alive, the traditional family (in this rainbow world!) the union between man and woman, the preservation of the sanctity of marriage, where the father can remain a man and the mother a woman. Which, by the way, is the shame of our time, that it has to be recorded! But so strong is the "Family is the Family" propagation of homosexual (and homosexuality "Be Homosexual") marriage, and the promotion of this unnatural relationship in general, so the government was forced to record it in a unique way in the world. Since then, it has been rumored that there are followers.
What could be a stronger positive emotion than patriotism, which the right-wing supports in all areas and defends militantly in Brussels against globalist aspirations. In contrast, the left supports the harmful globalist ideal of the United States of Europe, which is an attack on the country's sovereignty and declares war on patriotism. Who has thought of protecting the border against Muslim wars that threaten European Christian culture? Since then, it has followers. Of course, the left fabricated hate speech from this as well, twisting it from its original noble intention. Then who has thought of supporting the Hungarians across the border, of giving them citizenship? This act also creates a positive feeling, but the left, on the other hand, led by Gyurcsány, campaigned against dual citizenship and incited against our Hungarians who had split across the border. And it worked for him, the God-given people didn't even go to vote, they were affected by negative emotions, existential fear, incitement, envy even then.
If the opposition were to win, it would again be possible to influence negative low-level emotions and bring envy out of the depths. Unfortunately, we cannot influence the left-wing opinion bubble, where many people of good faith are misled, after all, we really do have freedom of speech. In contrast to the old democracies of the West, where the liberal dictatorship inhibits it. Professionals are working on the other side to paint a dark picture, who, in addition to steal, steal, steal, also constantly suggest a negative image of poverty, poverty, poverty, and paint a false picture of catastrophic healthcare and education. There is a positive emotion in this, compassion for the poor, except the doll is fake. False statistics are published, the real ones are hidden, that more than 1 million people have come out of a difficult situation in recent years, that the parking lots of wellness hotels and shopping malls are full, that new cars are racing on the roads everywhere.
This includes the liberal ideal of our time of being a good man, as well as the false idea of socialist equality. In this area as well, they manage to incite and paint a negative picture of everything, which they can only achieve by lying, but unfortunately they succeed in influencing people. There is often a false nostalgia for the Kádár system, when the good comrade was the cool one. In this case, the memory is short, the cruelties are forgotten, or they only want to remember the beautiful, because they were young then. Thus, the dictatorship is now presented in a positive light, and the truth is even turned into its opposite, with today's dictatorship. They make their followers believe that they are now living in a dictatorship. Negative communication paints the current situation as bad, and then we didn't even talk about the Pentecostal king of the opposition, who is at the forefront of this, and is even campaigning on the death of Fidesz pensioners who died in Covid. In addition to Fidesz's welfare measures, it is good if it reinforces the positive emotions, which are its own anyway. Real enlightenment work should be done, which can also bring light to the dark left. The question is how all this can be achieved, since the left is locked in its own darkness and refuses to let in the light.
