Bence Tótváradi-Nagy, a left-wing municipal representative in Vác, expresses his approval not with a like sign, but with a smiling picture of Hitler, in a way that is unacceptable for any sensible person. The scandals on the left have no consequences this time either. However, in the name of the memory of 1,600 former citizens of Váci who were abducted, deprived of all their property, and murdered, the Váci Jewish Community protested against the scandalous behavior of Bence Tótváradi-Nagy, representative of the local government of Váci.
The shocking anti-Semitic scandal of Jobbik's Somogy county regional director came to light not so long ago. VácOnline (he posted about Hitler's "son", wrote a racist post) and the national media also reported on the racist expressions of Zsolt Fehér Váci and Pest county local government representative. However, left-wing politicians, journalists and other public figures observe the events in silence, they did not condemn the extreme statements with a single word, even though the local right-wing has already called on the representative to resign. The local organization of Fidesz issued the following statement regarding Zsolt Fehér's statement:
Last week, it was revealed that the president of the Jobbik branch in Vác, Zsolt Fehér, posted extreme right-wing, Nazi posts on social media. This behavior cannot fit into the values of a democratically functioning representative body, so on behalf of the Vác organization of Fidesz, I call on you to resign your representative mandate! Anti-Semitism is rampant on the left.
After that came the Bence Tótváradi-Nagy scandal.
THE VÁC JEWISH COMMUNITY ISSUED A STATEMENT ABOUT THE SCANDAL:
In the name of the memory of 1,600 ex-citizens of Váci who were abducted, deprived of all their property, and murdered, the Váci Jewish Community protests against the behavior of Bence Tótváradi-Nagy, a representative of the Váci municipality, who indicated that he likes Zsolt Fehér with a smiling picture of Hitler and the inscription "You little mischievous" the post of his colleague on the internet with a storm helmet, who is also a convinced displayer of fascist symbols
- they write in their statement. In the text, János Turai, the president of the Váci Zsido Community, also draws attention to the fact that glorifying the memory of the fascist, murderous dictator who set the world on fire is not a new phenomenon by some representatives of the current Váci municipality. Gergely Inotay, candidate for parliamentary representative of the left, "as a religious teacher, he defends those who express fascist ideas. In order to gain money and power, he cannot humble himself and join forces with the successor party of the darkest era of Hungarian history. The spirit of the municipality of Vác is no longer worthy of the Rauol Wallenberg award, which all municipalities have earned so far after the system change," concludes the text of the announcement.
